Well, at least beta5 does. So there's some major badness in the new AdiumX 0.7 beta5 that was released last night if you're a Yahoo user. And by badness I mean crash fest. You may not have noticed any issues if you aren't a Yahoo user, as it fixes a ton of buggage everywhere else.
But if you happen to be having problems, it's already fixed but rather than wait for beta6 (since I did turn some of you onto it I feel a little responsible) here's a special build that will take care of it (10.3 users only) given to me by Evan that takes care of it, along with a few other minor things.
One of the more common things I get asked regarding the AdiumX chat I did awhile ago is "What about Fire and Proteus?", and well, ok. It's worth noting that when I pick something for one of my 'chats', by choosing it I'm not dissing the others somehow.
A pseudo-acquaintance of mine (who pretty much disagrees with me on everything I say, which is how I know he's smart) is trying to unload a really nifty helicopter. Whole kit, has everything you need for fun and mayhem and isn't something you see every day.
And no, the blog isn't turning into craigslist, I just wish my checking account balance could justify picking the thing up so one of you might and I can live vicariously. It's one of those things you see in a movie as a teenager and fantasize about finding under the christmas tree. With accessories. Like a water balloon attachment or camera. Come to think of it, it's prolly a very good thing children can't afford these types of toys.
If you tell him how you got there, he might give you the standard drunker discount. Or he might tack on 15%. Can never really tell.
The AdiumX guys have been working hard, giving me more reasons to keep pushing their product down mac-users throats wherever I can get a chance. Their efforts have been going into v0.7, which just hit beta 4 and has been a long time in coming compared to their other releases, but there's just a ton of stuff in it.
One of the most common questions drunkers are hitting my inbox with at the moment is "Where the hell are you?". And well, it's a little embarrassing as this isn't the first time I've had to write a post like this and prolly won't be the last...
Mental illness isn't something I'm as familiar with as I probably should be. I've known people with some... severe problems... but it really isn't something that goes into my mental makeup of a person. Actually a lot of things don't, such as how much someone makes, their age, physical handicaps, or their race.
