An aside

Every once in awhile I go through the referral log to get a glimpse of what's going on, and sometimes even I wig. Just for reference, if your argument includes the term "drunkenbatman" in conjuction with a phrase like "one of the Industries greatest minds", your argument is probably screwed whether or not it contains any merit because your judgement has (rightly) become entirely suspect. Try to keep it real, as I have yet to spin up the Bootsy Collins while writing a post, and someone has to.
Oh, and Frasier Spiers is still trying to decide whether or not to put his Cow sticker on his Powerbook. So far, the poll isn't in the The Cow's favor.

I just can't imagine putting any sticker on something as elegeant as a new powerbook.

He seerated the words "drunken" and "batman" which leads me to believe he wasn't reffering to you. Perhaps he ment this drunken batman. Of course, that would make the statement even more obsurd.

Is there a rule about putting a drunkencow on a PC? I dual boot boot Ubuntu on it. And there's a Performa 578 next to it, and a Mac G4 below it . . .

Now that these comments are entirely off-topic, might I ask where you get coloured Apple logos? I'm assuming you mean a translucent sticker that still lets the backlight come through. I really need a way to tell my family's iBooks apart ("scuffed" and "not scuffed" aren't going to be applicable forever).

Look, you "drunkenblog" poser, I don't know why you're dissing DrunkenBatman like that. He is a fucking GENIUS. He INVENTED the appeal to authority. Also, there are REAL PROGRAMMERS who talk to him. Privately. Via email. Sometimes he implies that he's heard things that HE CAN'T EVEN TELL US.
If you're going to harsh like that, you better be ready to back it up.

First time Googl-er. I think it is hilarious the first link past DBL is "Don't Piss off DrunkenBatman". What an understatement.

He didn't say which industry. Perhaps he meant porn.

That's pretty funny. I wonder how often people's first thought is to google someone they've just met these days?
The porn link may be right though - there's references to Drunkenbatman all over the web.

Here's another fun statement with you in it:
...but TUAW doesn't exactly have the same level of professionalism as many others like John Gruber, DrunkenBatman (no, I don't know his name), Dave Sircusa...

well, for whatever it's worth, i put the cow sticker on my ibook. that's called free advertising. except it doesn't say "drunkenblog" so it really only affects those people who know what drunkenblog is. which means it's not really advertising.
