Get your Cow on (not what you think)
So back when I first posted desktop pictures of The Cow, I said "feel free to get creative". A reader in Houston, TX, took me up on it by downloading The Cow and printing him out.
And then cutting it into masks. And then making his family wear them, while documenting it with a really crappy digital camera. I have some great ones from Germany to post, but nothing like this.
After wigging out a bit with David, I passed them onto a few people for reactions, the most common being: "That's one chainsaw short of a horror movie." The Cow was always supposed to be a bit off, but I can always count on my readers to rub things till they have a nice glossy shine of disturbing.

Yeah, I'm hoping to gawd it's his family too, and not some people being held hostage or something. Although I can tell you though that one day, when I'm rich, a few hundred of these are getting drop-shipped to MacWorld and WWDC, because it's good to set goals.

That is awesome. Totally awesome.
And also one of the most disturbing things I've ever seen.

That's not disturbing, that's cute... especially the toddlers...but yes, we need to get these masks to MacWorld as soon as possible.
(Or maybe to the MXS world developers conference once CherryOS takes over the world ;D )

That's awesome!! Maybe you should see who can send in the best picture of the cow in the coolest place. Imagine some of the photos you'd get for that? Suddenly the "cows at home" don't seem so creepy.

Actually, you really should get people to wear cow masks to WWDC. It might make for quite an impressive crowd at the keynote, and it would be interesting to see how they'd cope trying to do "developers stare in awe at Steve Jobs' charisma" camera shots that they usually pull off if everyone (or a sizeable number of people at the very least) is wearing...well...cow masks.

"I can always count on my readers to rub things"
I'm just waiting for someone to take that out of context.
Oh, and scary, yes.

They may be cute in the pictures but there are times when I would test ebay's "selling people" policy.
Based on the comments here, I'm really thinking about making a Cow movie short. But then . . the DrunkenOne would think I had even LESS of a life.
I am carrying a cow head with me in my tote now . . . just waiting for that special moment.

For all your cow needs
Have you thought about the "Cow" distro of VX30?

Some days I feel responsible for my brother's freakishness, but he had the help of at least 4 family members in this case so I can't be held responsible.

It is funny until the eyes are cut out. Then it's scary. "Leatherface" indeed.
