CherryOS goes offline

The above is what you get when you go to cherryos.com, and CherryOS has been removed from the list of products Maui-X sells. It's very amusing, but I wouldn't break out the party hats.
I'm willing to bet dollars to donuts that this won't be the last these guys are heard of; they've sunk in too much time, money and effort into this endeavor to walk away without trying every angle they possibly can.

It has just... disappeared from their site. No notice or explanation? I'd be pissed if I gave them $$$

Pardon my ignorance and being off topic if offensive. I'm curious about that browser displayed. Is that a homebrew WebCore/WebKit app you've whipped up?

The browser looks like Safari with the back/forward buttons off and perhaps a ShapeShifter theme with white metal windows.

There's a quick example in oreilly.net on how to build your own browser http://www.macdevcenter.com/pub/a/mac/2004/01/23/webkit.html

LOL I went to maui X live chat and this is what I got.
Please wait for a site operator to respond.
You are now chatting with 'Gene'
Gene: Hello
Gene: Welcome to our live chat service.
you: Hi Gene, Is Cherry OS going to become available again? I was looking at it the other day as we write java software that runs on mac as well but don't have a mac so it would have been good to test with
Gene: I am sorry but this is support for VX30 software. All I know about CherryOS is on their website.

Ok so if they shut down CherryOS what happens to PearPC? They collected money to sue to stop right?

What's this about GPL software license strings being found in other Maui-X software?

It may not be their last gasp, but it made me smile nonethless. :-) No need to be modest, Mr. DrunkenBatman. Your bringing attention to Maui-X was a big break for them being stolen from.
