I love your mom

I love pictures in general. Time is fluid and transient, and to grab a microsecond snapshot of it to be able to point to and say "That happened" has always amazed me.
That said, every once in awhile I see a picture and instantly love it and want to have it. The above crop is an example of one of her snaps I fell in love with, and I was tickled to death that Andrea went out of her way to find it and send me a hi-res version for my own enjoyment.
The thing about Andrea is that as I read her site, Superhero Journal, I'm constantly going over that "Must have it" threshold. An example is her Crush contest post, and while the contents and comments are entertaining, I just love the picture itself.
It reminds me muchly of an old argument centered on whether or not photography is an art form, or perhaps how it struggled to become one.
On the one side, it was disdained by artists who felt people were just snapping pictures of the actual world, as compared to people who were actually having to create art through painting and such. On the other side was the feeling that being constrained to make art with what the natural world gives you is one of the greatest challenges there is...
There's a comment from yours truly there, which is a good example of why I don't post many personal stories here, but I'd encourage you to enter your own...
