Delicious Monster in the news
Take a few minutes to go watch the Delicious Guys (I need a new term, that one makes me feel dirty) get profiled on their local news about working in the coffee shop, and their Delicious Library software. It's nice to see people having a good time, and being excited, by doing what they love to do.

It looks like it uses real world metaphors,
Maybe I'll tire of it eventually but for now the 'metaphors' work well and give you visual cues you don't get from a text listing. High quality, and gives me something to do with my iSight. iSight and Amazon integration are what put it over the top.

Now that my grant money has arrived I have to catch up on my software registrations and Delicious Library is one of the ones on the top of my list. This is one seriously useful application.
To Adrian: There is the shelf view as well as a list view. The big feature I want is Smart Libraries.

It is a totally awesome app. I just wish it didn't crash after I'd hyped it up and tried to 'show it off' to my PC using sister :-S
The feature I want before I'd be willing to register is integration with European Amazon stores. So far it's only managed to find 1 of the albums I've scanned and 3 of the books.

Fifty six thousand in sales on their first day is impressive. I've looked at purchasing it, but am worried about the interface. It looks like it uses real world metaphors, and I saw how bad that can be with the Quicktime Player and Microsoft's "Bob".
