White russians
It just feels good to get stuff taken care of, even if you're finishing up at 4am. One last project off my plate for Friday and it'll be an easy weekend. White russians help immensely. I've never quite made the perfect white russian yet, although each one is enjoyable. Luckily I foresee myself having a great deal of practice. I'll update this thing with something substantial sometime tomorrow or so, promise.

I can tell you that there are certain LARGE ISPs and media companies that prefer Real streaming to Windows Media streaming. Thank goodness.

Dude! I'm not sure it's fair to take a conversation from /. over to my blog. ;) But, yeah, Real's niche (and value, they have tools setup that make certain types of things much simpler with their helix tools and the like) is at the server end... but the client is becoming pretty marginalized, dontcha think?
More and more people, when given the options of how they want to view the stream, are bypassing real's button. Which isn't to say quicktime is doing that great either, but Apple has made some decent strides there.
